Anyone have the new iPod Nano 7?

Does anyone have a Nano 7g that is willing to run a few tests on? I don't have the nano 7g yet, and I want to  be able to run some tests to know more about the device, and what can be done. I dont have the iPod Nano 7G yet, cause i ordered the iPhone 5, so if i ever get the money, ill get it. Maybe ill accept donations thru paypal soon ;) Once i get the nano 7g, ill intagrate it in nan0hail

Okay so 1.0.0.4 will come out, with new stuff, but not anytime soon. In like a month or two. Only cause I don't have my nano with me now :P But I am still working on nan0hail as much as I can without the nano.

Well, ill maybe get back to this if i can team up with people that has experiences with hacking, AND familiar with the iPod Nano 6G. Someone who is advanced with all this stuff, not a beginner, and someone who will be dedicated. So if I can create a team (kinda like the chronic dev team) then i can get back on to this, and make nan0hail even better then ever. You will be apart of nan0hail, and will be included in the creadits (if you get in).

How the email should look like:
1. Tell me that you want to join the team for hacking for the nano.
2. Tell me your experiences with hacking.
3. Tell me if you have any experience with Nano 6G hacking
4. Tell me if you have knowledge with code, and tell me the language you know.

6. Also, tell me why you want to be a part of nano hacking.

If I approve, I will then give you an email of a small project to do, to prove if you can join.

I haven't been working on 1.0.0.4 lately,  but when it comes out, it will probably be the final version until I or someone gets a way to add video, or custom wallpaper. Also, if a new update for the nano comes out, ill try to update nan0hail to support the new version (only if 1.3 comes out), and if a iPod 7g comes out, ill work on it.
Btw, im working on another hack(not nan0hail) for a completely different device with the help with a friend js...

Okay, sorry for not posting a blog in a while. Iv been working on alot of nano research. Im actually working on nan0hail 1.0.0.4 on a laptop that is totally messed up(no internet access, no usb's respond, and pretty much everthing that is wireless or connects expect for cd drive). I work on 2 computers now cause of that. It seems to be windows that is the problem cause everything works when i use a different OS (Ubuntu). Anyways, im finding a way how to add video and more cool stuff on the nano.

Long wait, but I put effort into this. I added 2 new features that are pretty big.

Nan0hail v1.0.0.1 bugs

There has been more bug reports on this new update. Thanks for informing me. I will try to fix all the bugs. Please be patient as I fix them all. v1.0.0.2 will have a fix to most/all bugs.

Nan0hail Update v1.0.0.1

Nan0hail has its first update! This fixes the bug that doesn't find the iPod Nano 6G and adds a new feature to edit mode called Simple Mode. Simple Mode is a easy fast way to use Edit Mode. When ever version 1.0.0.2 comes out, Simple Mode will add alot more stuff! To update, you can download the lastest version. The update by clicking the Check for Updates doesn't work right now. To make sure you are on the lastest version, the main menu should say v 1.0.0.1 . Also, you will know the difference on start up.
If Google Chrome Says download appears malicious, just download using another internet browser (eg. Internet Explorer). And also, this program has no viruses what so ever. To even prove it, u can comment saying if does or doesn't.

**NOTE** This is only for iPod Nano 6G running version 1.2 PC (latest version)

Nan0hail Bug Warning!

There is a bug in the Nan0hail program that I have found. This bug is that it always says disconnected. The future version will fix this bug but in the mean time, make sure that your iPod is the F: drive on your computer. Also, try unplugging all USB's and then try using Nan0hail then. Sorry for this error.

Nan0hail Release Date ( Very soon )

Nan0hail will be released very shortly today (in a hour or two) so stay tuned for the download link. The program will be for windows only as there will be no plans for a mac version. If alot of request ask for a mac version, I might consider making one.

Nan0hail jailbreak : iPod Nano 6G (or hack)

There has been people trying to find a jailbreak for there iPod nano 6G. I was one of those people a while back. I found out that there was nothing, especially for 1.2 . Well I have developed a jailbreak for the iPod 6G touch running ONLY 1.2 (newest version). This doesn't add cydia (doesn't support wifi on device), but it does exactly what James Whelton did on his iPod on version 1.0, which was then latter patched. The jailbreak program also addes a easy way to edit settings, duplicate and delete apps. This may not be too big, but the big part is that this jailbreak allow hackers to develop tweaks and maybe apps for the iPod, and have it successfully added on without the iPod removing it at instant which it automatically does. I guess this is actually considered a hack(I may change name later on program) Like James Whelton said, "  The springboard hack is just the removal of a app and creation of a blank space. Not that amazing, but whats important is the bypass of Nano’s cache comparison, which compares any modded SB file and reverts it if it doesn’t like it, this opens up the possibility of hacking and modding, while not adding bootloaders or any of that fun stuff. " , this could enable people to make apps. This jailbreak is called, "Nan0hail", and jailbreaking only takes a couple of seconds. The hack will come out very soon. I will keep in touch and post another blog about the release date.
